Beta insulated tools are safe for use on electrical systems up to 1000 VAC (1500 VDC). The design meets EN 60900 specifications and each tool is usbjected to the following stringent tests: handle resistance to slipping and flame propagations, and high voltage test (1000V). These insulated diagonal cutting pliers measure 160mm (6.3") overall with a 22mm (3/4") jaw length and 20mm (.79") jaw width.

• APPLICATIONS - The Beta 1082MQ insulated diagonal cutting pliers are angled to cut as close to the surface as possible and are primarily used for cutting wire, small materials, and fasteners like pins and nails, especially in tight spaces where larger tools won't fit.
• INSULATED - These diagonal cutting pliers are 1000V rated for use during electrical work. Beta's insulated tools are tested piece by piece at 10,000V to work on 1000V electrical installations.
• TESTING - Stringent tests performed during production: flame propagation test, penetration test, 100% visual test, crash test, mechanical test, dimensional test, electrical insulation test, adhesion and marking indelibility test.
